Bored Panda reached out to Gaurav, the creator behind this Facebook Page, who replied about how he came up with the idea for it.
“I used to run a page dedicated to cats before, but I have an equal affection for all animals. So I decided to create a page where I could post other animals as well and that's how this page started.”
The Facebook page has collected over 1M followers, which only proves that people can’t resist cute animal pics. Gaurav shared what it’s like to have such a huge following.
“About having a million followers... I never thought that this page would reach 1 million followers. Honestly, I created this page to spread positivity, not to gain followers. It feels like people love this page, and it's heartening to see that.
Living up to the expectations of millions of people is indeed a responsibility. It is both challenging and time-consuming.
Sometimes I also read the comments. Someone wrote that they eagerly waited for this page's posts all day. Someone else mentioned that it's a stress buster for them. Seeing such reactions is reassuring and makes me feel like I'm making good use of my time.”
Obviously, you have to love pets to create such a page, therefore, Gaurav shared what pets he had himself.
“When I was a child, we had a parrot at home, my first pet. We never kept it in a cage; it freely roamed around the entire house. But one day, it flew away due to my mistake and never returned. I cried a lot that day. He was truly like a family member. This was around the year 2004-2005.
My second pet is also a parrot. I brought it home before COVID.”
Gaurav continued by sharing what he has learned from his pets.
“I have learned from my parrot and other people's pets that animals are truly special. The human-animal bonding is also very special. Animals love you unconditionally. I consider it the purest form of love. They, too, have emotions similar to humans, and only someone who loves animals can truly feel this emotion.”
“Facebook pages have also played a significant role in raising awareness about animals. I consider myself a soldier in this cause.”
"and I said, sure Susan you can take the matching vases but I'm not giving you the coffee table..."
Is he/she here to talk about their lord and savior? Cause I'm listening.
How nice of the soft can opener to hold the ear scritching device at just the right height
Seeing all that kibble on the ground....I hope someone adopts this fine fellow and his chair.
This is sooo cool, only difference I'd make is a way to lift the roof or open the window to clean it.
Yeah! That's what I think of your cooking! Break out the chicken or I'm slapping the pan!
